DELIVERY SERVICE

All orders are dispatched by contract courier companies, including Australia Post for smaller parcels. We use the best available couriers but cannot guarantee short delivery times so please ensure you allow an extra half day whenever possible. Delivery delays may be experienced due to high volume of customer pre-orders, especially at peak times such as beginning of month, Christmas, after public holidays or due to unforeseen courier demands.

Same Day Delivery:

The following guide applies at normal times but may exclude peak periods and other unscheduled delays relating to extreme weather, traffic, roadworks, courier drivers etc.

Available to some areas of:

  • Metropolitan Melbourne
  • South East Queensland
  • Metropolitan Perth

For same day (morning dispatch) delivery to these areas orders must be finalised by:

  • 9:30am (online/fax/email orders)
  • 10:00am (phones orders)

For morning dispatch when Couriers Please (ex. Melb orders) is the requested courier, orders must be received by 8.30am.

Next Day Delivery:

Available to some areas of:

  • Metropolitan Melbourne
  • South East Queensland
  • Metropolitan Perth

For same day shipment orders must be finalised by:

  • 1.00pm (online/fax/email orders)
  • 2.00pm (phone orders)

Available to some areas of:

  • Adelaide, Canberra & Sydney Metro
  • VIC Country regions
  • Major NSW Coastal & Murray Centres
  • QLD North to Mackay

For same day shipment orders must be finalised by:

  • 12.30pm (online/fax/email orders)
  • 1.30pm (phone orders)

2-3 Day Delivery:

Applies to:

  • Some Country Regions of NSW, SA & ACT
  • Central & Far North QLD & NT
  • Tasmania

(Note that deliveries to some remote areas of TAS may take up to 4 days.)

For same day shipment orders to these areas must be finalised by:

 

  • 12:30pm (online/fax/email orders)
  • 1:30pm (phone orders)

Cut-off times refer to Victorian time. Point-to-Point delivery service is available in some areas of Melbourne Metro at extra cost by agreement.  Overnight delivery to Tasmania is also available at extra cost by agreement and subject to transport delays.

All Customers:

Delivery may occur between 8:15am – 6:00pm, your local time (except during peak periods where couriers may deliver outside these hours). All couriers require a signature at the time of delivery (unless instructed otherwise – please see below). If no-one will be available to accept delivery all day please nominate a nearby address (eg. neighbour or nearby business) where the delivery can be accepted and signed for by someone you have authorised to do so on your behalf.

When placing your order you may, entirely at your risk, request the courier to leave your delivery in a nominated place without a signature.

PLEASE NOTE: Health Depot is not responsible for any loss, damage or theft resulting from goods being left unattended at or near premises. In all cases you agree to pay for goods that the courier states (in writing) have been delivered to the address that you have nominated.

Australia Post:

We also offer postal delivery, but unfortunately are unable to send quantities of liquids or inflammable materials in the post. (Additional freight charges may apply if you wish to have your parcel sent by post.)

  • Order value under $175.00 ex gst, freight cost is $11.00 plus gst
  • Order value over $175.00 ex gst, freight cost is FREE



All other orders (phone, fax & email): (*)

  • Order value under $275.00 ex gst, freight cost is $11.00 plus gst.
  • Order value over $275.00 ex gst, freight cost is FREE

Point-to-point delivery service is available in Melbourne Metro by agreement, at an extra cost.

An additional freight charge may apply to orders shipped via Australia Post.

International delivery may be arranged at extra cost by agreement.

Tasmania: Normal freight is a 2 to 4 working day servicenext day delivery is available by agreement.

*An additional freight charge will apply for shipping of heavy/bulk items (such as >4L or > 4kg) or heavy low cost items. Our customer service staff will advise of any extra costs prior to shipping. A ‘remote location’ freight surcharge may apply to some customers in remote areas.  Our customer service staff will advise if this surcharge applies at the time of order.
